About this story

Eli wants to help with a shared picture, but he does not know what to add. Mum invites him and Maya to explore a Bible account of willing gifts and careful work. After a brief bridge about the new tablets and renewed covenant, the story follows Moses gathering the people to prepare the tabernacle. Men and women bring materials willingly, skilled women spin thread, and Bezalel and Oholiab use their skills and teach others. When the workers report that they have more than enough, Moses asks the people to stop bringing gifts. Curtains, boards and coverings are prepared, Moses blesses the finished work, and the tabernacle is set up. A cloud covers the Tent of Meeting; during their journeys, the people wait while it remains and move when it lifts. In the separate modern family scenes, Eli asks what the picture needs and chooses one small way to help. This 29-page digital edition includes 14 distinct illustrated scenes, Bible references beneath relevant story text, seven questions, My Little Caring Plan, a short prayer and two activities: Our Shared Picture and Patient Teacher. Grown-up notes distinguish this tabernacle from the earlier tent outside the camp and explain the selected retelling and omitted details. They emphasise voluntary giving, patient learning and rest: children are loved whether they help, watch or need a break. The PDF includes searchable interior text. The matching EPUB preserves the illustrated page layout and requires a reader supporting fixed-layout EPUB 3.
